On Thursday, March 27, 2014, Hold Up officers arrested three men in connection with a gas station robbery in the Danforth Avenue and Warden Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- three men walked into the gas station
- they produced a knife and demanded money from the employees and a male customer
- the three men got into a car and fled
- the car was later determined to be stolen
Investigating officers received information and were able to obtain search warrants. The three men were arrested and taken into custody.
Ryan Wise, 33, of Toronto, faces the following charges:
1) Robbery (three counts)
2) Weapons Dangerous to Public Peace
3) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
4) Fail to Comply - Probation
Christopher Phalen, 47, of Toronto, faces the following charges:
1) Robbery (three counts)
2) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Bradley Rotchford, 26, of Toronto, faces the following charges:
1) Robbery (three counts)
2) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The three men appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10 a.m.
