On Saturday, March 4, 2000, at 4:36 a.m., police were called to The Spin Cat Club, at 1 Isabella Street, for the sound of gunshots.
Officers located four victims who were taken to hospital.
Andrew Robotham, 32, was pronounced dead in hospital. On Sunday, March 5, 2000, a post-mortem examination was conducted. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
Two other victims had gunshot wounds to the head. The fourth victim had cuts from flying glass.
On Saturday, March 29, 2014, the Fugitive Squad, with the assistance of the Gun and Gang Task Force, and the Intelligence Division, arrested Derek Wayne Brown, 42, on an outstanding arrest warrant dating back to March 2000.
He has been charged with First-Degree Murder and two counts of Attempt Murder.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
