On Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 12:15 p.m., a staff member at Secord Elementary School, at 101 Barrington Avenue, saw an unknown man near the southern portion of the school.
The staff member tried to approach the man, however he walked away casually. The man left a bag filled with small, dollar-store, kids' toys.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., the same man returned to the same area of the school. As staff tried to approach him, he again walked away. The man was not seen speaking to, or approaching, any children at that time.
Police are concerned he may have had contact with the children while staff attention had been diverted.
