The deceased has been identified as Kareem Francis, 33, of Toronto.
Lerone Marcano, 34, of Toronto, has been charged with Second-Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, March 16, 2014, 10 a.m.
A post-mortem examination has not yet been scheduled.
