The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a call for an assault with a weapon in the area of Carlaw Avenue and Queen Street East.
It is alleged that:
- a man attended a woman's apartment
- the man pepper sprayed the woman in the face
- the man left the woman's apartment and returned the next day
- the man entered into the woman’s apartment and began to choke her
- the man assaulted the woman multiple times
Douglas MacDonald, 53, of Toronto is wanted for:
1. Assault with a weapon
2. Unlawfully in a dwelling
3. Assault
4. Assault/Choking
5. two counts of Fail to Comply Probation
He is described as 5'7", 160 lbs., slim build, brownish/blonde short hair, clean shaven.
Investigators are appealing to the man to surrender to police, or if anyone has any information to contact police.
