The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest made in a Weapons Dangerous investigation.
Police responded to a radio call on Monday, June 21, 2021, at approximately 5:57 p.m., in the Kipling Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West area.
It is alleged that:
- a man with a weapon approached a residence
- prior to approaching the residence, he had slashed the tires of multiple vehicles
George Niras, 44, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
2. Eleven counts of Mischief to Property Under $5000
He is to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021,
