Pubic Safety Alert, Dundas Street West and Clendendan Avenue area, Attempt Abduction Investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an Attempt Abduction Investigation.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 1:24 p.m., police attended a suspicious incident call in the Clendendan Avenue and Dundas Street West area.

It is reported that:

- a girl was riding her scooter in the area of Clendendan Avenue and Dundas Street West

- the girl waited to cross the street

- a man driving a white van yelled out to her, "Get in my van, get in the back of my truck"

- the girl ran away from the man and the van

The van is described as a newer model white cargo van.

The man is described as male, white, 60's, with a long fluffy grey and white beard, grey and white spiked hair, balding, wearing a grey T-shirt.
