Police seeking assistance in identifying two men in robbery investigation, Bathurst Street and Adelaide Street West area, Video Released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men involved in a robbery investigation.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, a 39-year-old man was approached by two men in the Bathurst Street and Adelaide Street West area.

It is reported that:

- the men attempted to take the victim's bicycle from him after making multiple demands

- the victim refused, resulting in him being assaulting the during the course of the struggle

- the men let go of the bike and immediately fled the area following the interaction

The victim returned home and contacted police to report the robbery.

Investigators have released video footage of the incident.

The first man is described as black, 18-22 years old, 5'6"-5'7", 140 lbs, brown eyes, black hair, and has a black trimmed moustache. He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweater with white patterned sleeves and a black vest over top, black pants, green camouflage baseball cap, red sneakers, and carrying a black/red Goodlife gym bag.

The second man is described as 18-22 years old, 5'7"-5'8", 160 lbs, brown eyes, black hair, and has a goatee. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, green winter coat, black 'Champion' sweatpants, and red/orange Nike Air Max Tn sneakers.
