On Tuesday, March 26, 2013, members of the TPS Sex Crimes Unit - Child Exploitation Section made an arrest in a child pornography arrest.
It is alleged that:
- between January 1, 2013 and Tuesday, March 25, 2013 the accused surreptitiously made various video recordings for a sexual purpose of a person under the age of 18 years
- the victim was in a place where there would be a reasonable expectation of privacy
- a search warrant was executed and a quantity of computer equipment was seized
Desmond Patterson, 38, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. two counts of Voyeurism for a Sexual Purpose
2. two counts of Make Child Pornography
3. Possession Child Pornography
He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 1000 Finch Avenue West, 2 p.m., room 306.
