The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a homicide investigation.
On Friday, April 16, 2021, at 6:46 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the Jane Street and Queens Drive area.
It is reported that:
- police located one man suffering from a gunshot wound and provided life saving measures
- the man was transported to hospital by Toronto Paramedic Services where he was pronounced deceased
The victim has been identified as Drai Hugh Wilson, 21, of Durham Region.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting to contact them.
