The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a fatal collision.
On Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3:31 p.m., police responded to a report of a personal injury collision involving a pedestrian and a dump truck on Finch Avenue West at Sentinel Road.
It is reported that:
- a 46-year-old man was crossing Finch Avenue West from the north to the south
- the man was struck by a dump truck travelling westbound on Finch Avenue West
- the man suffered significant injuries and succumbed to his injuries at the scene
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
