The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a voyeurism investigation.
On Saturday April 10, 2021, at 5:37 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a complaint for voyeurism.
It is alleged that:
- a 25-year-old woman, who is a model, was contacted through social media by a photographer requesting a photo-shoot
- she attended the photographer’s residential basement address in the company of a friend
- during the photo-shoot, she changed in a room into another outfit
- upon conclusion of the photo-shoot, the woman returned to the change room to discover an electronic recording device recording her
Jonathan Wong, 50, of Toronto, is charged with:
1) Voyeurism
He is scheduled to return to court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday May 2, 2021, at 2 p.m., in room 407.
Investigators have executed a search warrant on a home in Toronto. Electronic and computer equipment has been seized.
Police are concerned there may be other victims.
