The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man in a bank robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 3 p.m., a man entered a bank in the Spadina Avenue/Adelaide Street West area
- the man was carrying a black bag and approached a teller
- he handed the teller a note demanding cash and pointed to his coat, verbally indicating that he was armed with a gun, although no weapon was seen
- he left with a quantity of money
The man is described as white, in his 40s, 5'4"-5'8", with a medium build. He was wearing dark sunglasses, black clothing, and a toque.
