Police request assistance with cell phone theft investigation, Security camera images released of man police trying to identify

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with a Theft Under investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at approximately 1:40 a.m., two men boarded a westbound TTC streetcar on King Street West near Bathurst Street

- shortly after boarding, the men stole a woman's cell phone and fled

One of the men has been identified by investigators.

The unidentified man is described as white with a tan complexion, approximately 25, approximately 5'9", and with a medium build. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid hoodie with the hood up, a black toque, and a silver puffy jacket with a chevron pattern.
