The Toronto Police Service is updating the public on a collision investigation where a man has since died.
On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at approximately 7:03 p.m., officers responded to a call for a collision in the Finch Avenue West and Kipling Avenue area.

It is reported that:
- a man was standing on the south curb
- a 61-year-old man was driving eastbound on Finch Avenue West
- the pedestrian walked onto the roadway and was struck
- the pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since succumbed to his injuries.
Traffic Services investigators are urging local residents, businesses and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact police.
