The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of a possible fraudulent scheme targeting seniors.
On Monday, January 13, 2014, at approximately 5 p.m., police were called to the Victoria Park Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area.

It is reported that:
- 1-2 men are approaching homes occupied by seniors and convincing them they need roof repairs
- after allegedly completing the repairs, the men go with the victim to a nearby bank machine to withdraw money and take the payment
- it is believed that no actual repairs are completed
The men are described follows:
1. white, 5'10", 170 lbs., 35-40, with a black do-rag on his head
2. white, 5'7", with a very heavy build
A security camera image of one of the suspects has been released.
