The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- between Saturday, May 17, 2008, and Saturday, January 11, 2014, a man sexually assaulted a young girl numerous times
On Friday, January 17, 2014, Wayne Delroy Henry, 32, of Toronto, was arrested. He was charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault
2) two counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching
3) two counts of Sexual Interference
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware that he has been released on bail.
He has worked at various daycares and youth centres in the Greater Toronto Area as an Early Childhood Educator, and has also volunteered at churches as a youth worker, participated in mentoring programs, and acted as a soccer coach for young people.
Police believe there may be more victims.
