The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in a child pornography investigation.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, the Toronto Police Service's Sex Crimes - Child Exploitation Section executed a search warrant at a home in the Highway 401 and Don Mills Road area. A second search warrant was executed at a business address in the Mount Pleasant Road and Davisville Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a man affiliated to Moorelands Community Services, as the Database and Website Administrator, posted child-abuse images on social-networking and image-hosting sites
- while employed by Moorelands Community Services, he also worked as an after-school program leader at Thorncliffe Park Public School and Gateway Public School from September 2008 to June 2013.
- he also worked as a camp director at several summer camps in the Greater Toronto Area
On Friday, February 7, 2014, Chun Him ("Louis") Wong, 25, of Toronto, was arrested and faces the following charges:
1) two counts of Possession child pornography
2) two counts of Accessing child pornography
3) two counts Make Available child pornography
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 10 a.m.
