The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, February, 9, 2014, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was travelling on the subway in the Bayview Avenue/Sheppard Avenue East area
- a man approached and sexually assaulted her
- the man then showed the women a weapon shortly after the assault
He is described as brown, approximately 30, 5'7", with short, black, curly hair, and distinctive discoloration on both hands. He was wearing a black coat and black pants.
Investigators have released security camera images and would like to identify the Person of Interest.
