On Friday, September 18, 2020, at approximately 6:01a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision that occurred on St. Clair Avenue East near Brimley Road, in Toronto.
It is reported that:
- a 56-year-old woman was crossing St. Clair Avenue East, from the south side to the north side, just east of Brimley Road
- at this time, a 2014 black Hyundai Accent was travelling eastbound on St. Clair Avenue East in the left lane
- the 56-year-old woman was struck by the Hyundai Accent and as a result was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries
- the driver remained at the scene for the investigation
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
