John Peter Lioudakis, 40, was last seen on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 6:30 a.m., at Toronto Pearson International Airport as he boarded a flight to Mexico.
He is described as being of Greek descent, with an olive complexion, 6'3", 220 lbs., brown eyes with a muscular build. He has a small tattoo of an iguana on his lower-left calf and a piercing on his chin. He also has a vertical scar on his right forearm and occasionally wears a goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey "Jack Jones" T-shirt with white runners and blue jeans.
Through investigation, it was revealed that John Lioudakis checked in to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mazatlán, Mexico, on Friday, May 24, 2013, and then checked out approximately one week later. It remains unknown where he went from there, as there are no records of him returning to Canada.
Police are concerned for his safety as he was not scheduled to remain in Mexico for a extended period of time and has not made any contact with his family or friends since shortly after his departure to Mexico.
