The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 11:43 p.m., a woman was walking on Assiniboine Road, near Hackett Road, when she was approached by a man
- the man pulled out a black handgun and demanded the victim turn over her cell phone
- the victim complied and the man fled the area in a vehicle driven by a second suspect
The suspect with the handgun is described as black, 57, thin build with black curly hair. He was last seen wearing black-framed eyeglasses, a yellow jacket with Security in black lettering on the back and black pants.
The suspects' vehicle is described as an older tan SUV or minivan.
