The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance identifying a man in a break and enter investigation.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020, officers responded to a call for a break and enter in the Church Street and Wellington Street East area.

It is reported that:

- at 12:47 a.m., a man broke into a restaurant

- he stole several bottles of wine

- he then fled the scene

Investigators have reviewed security camera video and believe the same man is responsible for an attempted break and enter at the same restaurant the day before.

The man is described as 40-45, medium to heavy build, clean shaven, with brown hair. He was wearing a black coat with leather arms and a logo on the left side of coat, black pants, and black running shoes with white soles.
