Sexual Assault Alert, Victoria Park Avenue and Danforth Avenue, Composite sketch of man released

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation and requesting assistance identifying a man.

It is reported that:

- on a day in late July or early August 2012, at approximately 9 p.m., a woman was walking in the Victoria Park Avenue and Danforth Avenue area when she was grabbed from behind by a man

- she was dragged into a nearby park and sexually assaulted by the man who also threatened to kill her

- he fled on foot

The man is described as having a dark-black complexion, late 20s-early 30s, 5'8"-5'9", with big eyes, a muscular upper body, long goatee and shoulder-length black dreads with blond tips. He was wearing a black hoodie, with the hood up, and black shorts with blue stripes down the sides, and dark flip-flops. The man smelled of body odour and wine.

A composite sketch has been released.
