On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., police received a report of a collision that occurred on a private commercial property located at 100 Metropolitan Road.
It is reported that:
- 60-year-old male employee was working near a loading dock on the property
- at that time, a 48-year-old man, driving a shunting truck, was reversing towards a docked trailer and struck the victim
- he suffered fatal injuries at the scene
Members of Traffic Services are working with the Ministry of Labour and the Coroners Office in this investigation.
