The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance locating a wanted man.
On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the area of Dawes Road and Victoria Park Avenue for a report of an assault with a weapon.
It is alleged that:
- a man attacked the victim with a weapon
- the victim managed to get away from the man
- neighbours assisted the victim and called police
- the man fled before police arrived on scene
Carlos Randolph Johnson, 40, is wanted for:
- two counts of assault with a weapon
- threaten death
- assault
- threaten Bodily harm
He is described as black, 6', 200 lbs., with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a puffy, hooded winter jacket, black pants and grey shoes with white soles. He was carrying a blue backpack. A photograph of Carlos Randolph Johnson has been released.
He is considered to be dangerous. Anyone locating him should not approach him but should call 9-1-1.
