The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying suspect(s) in connection with a break-and-enter investigation.
On Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 11:09 p.m., police were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Davenport Road for a report of a break-and-enter.
It was reported that:
- on Saturday, January 4, 2014, between 7:45 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., someone entered a home by forcing open a rear door
- once inside the home, the suspect(s) stole several valuable antiques including a Tiffany table lamp, two large chandeliers and an authentic Persian rug, among other items
- the suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction
The estimated value of the stolen items is believed to be more than $60,000.
Investigators are requesting the public's assistance, particularly those in the art and antique communities, to identify the suspect(s) and recover the stolen property. Photographs of the stolen items have been released.
