On Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., in the lobby at police headquarters, Toronto Crime Stoppers will host a news conference highlighting results from 2013 and profile some of the assistance that Crime Stoppers has provided to the Toronto Police Service.
This is the 30th anniversary of the community program, and the event will feature some of the highlights of the Crime Stoppers program over the past 30 years.
Guests will include Toronto Police Services Board Chair Alok Mukherjee, TPS Deputy Chief Mark Saunders, and Toronto Crime Stoppers Program Chair Gary Grant. The conference's Master of Ceremonies will be Toronto Crime Stoppers Program board member Lorne Simon.
