The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation and requesting assistance identifying the individual involved.
It is reported that:
- on Friday, December 27, 2013, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a woman was followed by a man on a TTC bus to the Jane Street/Sheppard Avenue West area
- the man then followed the woman off the bus and into her apartment building
- the man sexually assaulted the woman in the elevator
He is described as black with a dark complexion, 18-20, 5'6"-5'7", with a slim to average build. He was wearing a dark-coloured cap, a dark face covering, a white hooded sweater, a black vest, dark pants, and dark-coloured sneakers.
