On Thursday, October 17, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to a shooting call at 4005 Don Mills Road.
A man was transported from the scene to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man has been identified as Michael Huynh, 30, of Toronto.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2019.
The Toronto Police Homicide Unit was notified and has taken over the investigation.
Homicide investigators are requesting anyone with dash cam video at the time of the homicide, in the area of Don Mills Road and Steeles Avenue East, to contact them at 416-808-7400.
Investigators are also looking to identify the driver of a flat black matte 2016 Audi RS7. Image of similar vehicle released.
Police believe this car was driven by, or in possession of, the suspect prior to and immediately after the shooting.
