Police officers canvassing door-to-door in apartment buildings, New locations announced where door-to-door canvassing has taken place

We said yesterday that police were working closely with the city's Emergency Operations Centre, Toronto Hydro, the Toronto Transit Commission and Toronto Community Housing to identify other apartment buildings without power or partial power, so further door-to-door canvasses can be conducted to identify vulnerable residents who require assistance.

Starting at 8:15 a.m., today, police officers conducted door-to-door canvasses at the following apartment buildings:

345 Driftwood Avenue
370 Driftwood Avenue
26 Olive Avenue
28 Olive Avenue
138 Doris Avenue
4301 Kingston Road
4503 Kingston Road

The door-to-door checks have been completed. More locations will be announced as they become available.
