On Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 3:33 p.m., police received a report of a collision at Richmond Street West at Augusta Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a commercial motor vehicle operated by a 38-year-old man was travelling west on Richmond Street West
- a 48-year-old man who was walking began crossing Richmond Street West from south to north
- the man, 48, was struck by the commercial vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
