United Jewish Appeal Walk with Israel, Monday, May 20, 2019, 10 a.m., Road closures

On Monday, May 20, 2019, at 10 a.m., the United Jewish Appeal Walk With Israel will take place.

Road closures will be in place for all or part of the day.

Formation area will be at Earl Bales Park. The walk will start at 10 a.m. at Raoul Wallenberg Road and Bathurst Street.

The walk will follow the route of:

- Southbound Bathurst Street to York Downs Drive (partial closure)
- Eastbound York Downs Drive to Armour Boulevard
- Southbound Armour Boulevard to Westgate Boulevard
- South/West Westgate Boulevard to Southboume Avenue
- Westbound Southboume Avenue to Bathurst Street
- Southbound Bathurst Street to Wilson Avenue (full closure)
- Eastbound Wilson Avenue to Ridley Boulevard
- Southbound then East on Ridley Boulevard to Avenue Road
- Southbound Avenue Road to St. Germain Avenue
- Westbound St. Germain Avenue to Bathurst Street
- Northbound Bathurst Street to Neptune Drive
- Westbound then North on Neptune Drive to Hotspur Road
- Eastbound on Hotspur Road to Bathurst Street
- Northbound on Bathurst Street to Invermay Avenue (full closure North of Wilson Avenue)


The walk will end at Bathurst Street and Invermay Avenue at around 12 p.m.

Street festival will begin at 11 a.m. on Bathurst Street from Wilson Avenue to York Downs Drive.

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation. The TTC will/will not experience any delays. The walk/street festival event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
