Man faces 22 charges after search warrant executed, Three firearms and stolen vehicle recovered

On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, police executed a search warrant at a home in the Neilson Road and Sewells Road area.

It is alleged that:

- during the search warrant, the following three firearms were seized: a Savage 30.06 rifle, a Remington Super X 3 semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun and a .410 calibre single-shot shotgun

- the firearms recovered were stolen in a recent Durham Region break- and-enter

- also recovered were a vehicle which had been reported stolen during a recent break-and-enter in Toronto, as well as a quantity of stolen property

Robert Husband, 37, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2. four counts of Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition
3. Careless Storage of a Firearm
4. three counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
5. three counts of Possession of a Firearm Restricted/Prohibited Obtained by Crime
6. three counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
7. two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
8. two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
9. Possession of Break-in Instruments
10. Break-and-Enter Commit
11. Theft of Motor Vehicle

He appeared in court at College Park on Wednesday, December 3, 2013.
