The Toronto Police Service would like to request the publics assistance in relation to a Shooting investigation.
On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at approximately 12:54 a.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the King Street West and Brant Street area.
It is alleged that:
- a 25-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk
- he became involved in a verbal altercation with occupants of a car
- a firearm was discharged at least four times at him
- he was struck twice and attended a local hospital for treatment
- the vehicle, with three occupants, then fled
- they were last seen westbound on King Street and then southbound on Portland Street
The vehicle is described as a red 4 door newer model Lexus
A security camera image of the vehicle is released.
The victim was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
