Arrest made in identity theft investigation, Zeeshan Baz, 32, charged, List of names of potential victims released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in an identity theft investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man obtained credit from various credit card companies and financial institutions using forged documents with false government issued identity documents

On Thursday, November 14, 2013, Zeeshan Baz, 32, of Mississauga, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) 16 counts of Possession of Property obtained by Crime
2) six counts of Fraud - over ($5000)
3) two counts of Fraud - under ($5000)
4) Utter Forged Document

It is further alleged that the following names were used fraudulently:

1) Furqan Abid
2) Farooq Abli
3) Bahrooz Ahmed
4) Jawad Akhtar
5) Jamal Akram
6) Shakeel Ali
7) Bilal Asgar
8) Noor Aslam
9) Jonaid Kayani
10) Emraan Khaan
11) Hasan Mansoor
12) Inam Mustafa
13) Sheryar Rahman
14) Tanvir Raja
15) Peter Sangher
16) Zaheer Shah
17) Nujam Sido

Investigator are also seeking the public's assistance identifying a person of interest.

Police believe there may be more victims.
