Sexual Assault Alert, Greenwood and Woodbine subway station, Man wanted

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an on-going sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 10:32 a.m., a woman, 21, was travelling westbound on a subway train

- a man boarded the same train at Woodbine Subway Station

- the man sat beside the woman

- he committed an indecent act, grabbed the woman and sexually assaulted her

- he then fled on foot once the train came to a stop at Greenwood Subway station


The man was described as 5'5", with a thin build, late teens to early 20s, with short brown/black hair, and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, a grey top with a burgundy hood, black pants with a vertical white stripe down the side, and running shoes.

Security camera images have been released.
