The Toronto Police Service is pleased to be hosting a graduation ceremony for 55 new police officers on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at noon, at the Toronto Police College, located at 70 Birmingham Street.
In attendance for this special occasion will be Mayor John Tory, Toronto Police Services Board Chair Andrew Pringle, Chief of Police Mark Saunders, Deputy Minister Mario Di Tommaso, Councillor Michael Ford, and MPP Kinga Surma.
The graduating class is representative of Toronto’s diverse cultural community and brings a superior level of varied knowledge and abilities to the Service, including language skills, previous military or policing experience and post-secondary education.
