The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a stabbing investigation.
On Saturday, January 27, 2019, at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a 32-year-old man was crossing the street
- he was approached from behind and attacked by a man
- he was stabbed in the leg, his attacker fled
The man is described as having an olive complexion, 5'6" - 5'8", unshaven, with short black hair. He was wearing a black and blue rain jacket, dark pants and light-coloured shoes.
This is believed to be a random attack and a photograph of the suspect is being released.
