The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, investigators reported that:
- on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 3:20 p.m., a 39-year-old woman was walking in the area of Phoebe Street and Huron Street
- a man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her
- she was able to escape and contacted police
The man was described as white, with a thin build, short brown hair with a receding hairline and a brown unshaven beard. He was wearing a purple hoodie or jacket with a hood, white shirt underneath, dark pants and dark running shoes.
It is further reported that:
- on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at approximately 6:17 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was walking on Beverley Street near Queen Street West
- a man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her
- she was able to escape and contacted police
The man was described as being in his early to mid 20's, 5'8" to 5'10", with a skinny build, short dirty blonde buzzed hair, and a short beard. He was wearing a neutral-tone hoodie, a puffy vest, and cargo pants.
