On Wednesday, January 09, 2019, at 6:53 p.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision which occurred out front of 3825 Sheppard Avenue East, approximately 100 metres east of Allanford Road
It is reported that:
- an 85-year-old woman was walking across Sheppard Avenue East from the north side to the south side, out front of 3825 Sheppard Avenue
- a black Honda CRV was driving eastbound on Sheppard Avenue East approaching 3825 Sheppard Avenue East
- the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The vehicle did not remain and fled the scene
- the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
