The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- between 2006 and 2013, a number of young girls were sexually assaulted by the accused as he was giving piano lessons
- the lessons took place in the accused's basement in the Church Avenue/Yonge Street area
On Friday, October 11, 2013, Lap-Wah Ng, 69, of Toronto, was charged with:
1. Sexual Assault
2. Sexual Interference
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
On Thursday, November 21, 2013, a search warrant was executed at the accused's home.
It is further alleged that:
- two computer systems were seized
Police believe there may be other victims.
