Firearms Investigation, Broadview Avenue and Dundas Street East area, Jahvon Nurse, 21, faces 11 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a firearms investigation.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, at approximately 12 p.m., members of Central South District Criminal Investigation Bureau and Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the Broadview Avenue and Dundas Street East area.

It is alleged that:

- a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun was seized

Jahvon Nurse, 21, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Uttering Threats
2. Use of Firearm During the Commission of an Indictable Offence
3. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
4. Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
5. Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
6. Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
7. Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
8. Possession of Weapon
9. Carrying Concealed Weapon
10. Possess Firearm with Altered Serial Number
11. Fail to Comply Recognizance

He is scheduled to appear in court, at College Park Court, on Tuesday, November 20, at 10 a.m., in room 501.
