On Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 8:43 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Kipling Avenue and Annabelle Drive area.
It is reported that:
- a 71-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord southbound on Kipling Avenue at Annabelle Drive
- a 92-year-old pedestrian was crossing Kipling Avenue at Annabelle Drive from the east to the west side
- the Honda struck the pedestrian
- the pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries
On Saturday, November 10, 2018, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
