On Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 12:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on Main Street at Kingston Road.
It is reported that:
- the victim, Gaethan Kitadi, 20, was celebrating his birthday with a number of friends and family
- an altercation took place and the victim was shot
- Gaethan Kitadi was pronounced dead a short time later

Police are looking to speak with six males in connection with this investigation. They are described as follows:
Person of Interest #1 - black, late teens to early 20s, wearing a blue-and-white Toronto Maple Leafs jersey with blue hood, blue jeans, white shoes with black soles, wearing black, thick, rimmed glasses
Person of Interest #2 - black, late teens to early 20s, wearing a black jacket over a grey hoodie with a white zipper and white drawstring, baggy black pants and white running shoes with white laces and black soles
Person of Interest #3 - black, wearing a white sweater with a thick neck and drawstring, black toque, black jeans, black shoes. He has pierced ears and was wearing a watch on his left wrist
Person of Interest #4 - black, wearing a black jacket with leather arms and fabric body with letter "C" on the left chest, a black hoodie under his jacket, black pants and white shoes with black soles
Person of Interest #5 - black, late teens to early 20s, wearing a grey jacket with leather embellishments, a black hoodie, a black baseball cap with a round emblem on the front and white runners with black accents.
Person of Interest #6 - black, wearing a black puffy jacket over a blue hoodie, black pants and white runners with black accents
Investigators have recovered images from security cameras capturing the suspect and five Persons of Interest from the night in question. Those images have been released.
