The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an aggravated sexual assault investigation in the Kingston Road and McCowan Road area.
It is alleged that:
- between May 2012 and February 2013, the accused had unprotected sex with a 53-year-old woman without disclosing he was HIV positive.
On Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 7:25 a.m., Evans Rubara, 39, of Toronto, was arrested.
He is charged with:
1. Aggravated Sexual Assault
Police are urging anyone who had sex with Evans Rubara to seek medical attention.
Police believe there may be more victims. A photograph of the accused has been released.
