Public Safety Alert, Oakvale Green Park, Suspicious substance found,

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident.

On Monday, September 23, 2013, police were called to Oakvale Green Park off of Greenwood Avenue, south of Danforth Avenue, when an unknown substance mixed with hot dogs was found.

The area was checked by citizens and police for any further suspicious substances and none was found.

Police are asking the public to be alert while in that area with children or pets and report any similar substances. Do not touch it. Call police. Pets should be kept on leash to avoid consumption of any unknown substances.
