The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in a Homicide investigation.
On Friday, August 24, 2018, at 12:48 p.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in between the parking lots of 2305 Markham Road and 20 Melham Court.
Officers attended the area and located a man with obvious trauma. He was pronounced shortly after.
An appeal was made for the public's assistance locating a man wanted in connection with the Homicide.

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 11 p.m., Garfield Chambers, 43, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 10 a.m.
