The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a series of garbage fires set in the Bloor Street West and Bathurst Street area.
On Sunday, September 2, 2018, between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., a male suspect set fire to garbage left out for collection in the area bounded by Harbord Street to the south, Bloor Street to the north, Bathurst Street to the east and Palmerston Street to the west. A motorcycle was also set on fire.
The male suspect targeted addresses with large garbage items such as doors, sofas and mattresses.
The suspect is described as white, 6’, between 20 and 30. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey-and-blue top.
