On Monday, September 23, 2013, at 5:29 p.m., police responded to a shooting call at Queen Street East and Ontario Street.
Police located a 31-year-old man lying on the sidewalk, suffering from an obvious gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
A post-mortem examination is to be scheduled.
The victim has been identified as Deronn Earle, 31, of Toronto.
The only suspect description, at this time, is a black male.
